Lahore: The graduation ceremony of 114 Non GD & 37 BLPC courses and commissioning of 16A A&SD course was held at PAF Academy Risalpur. Air Marshal Javaid Ahmed, Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra was the Chief Guest at the occasion.
The graduating cadets belonging to Engineering, Information Technology, Education, Legal, Admin & Special Duties, Meteorology and Medical branches of PAF were awarded with Branch Insignias. Aviation Cadet Muntazir ul Hassan was awarded the trophy for overall best performance in 114 Non GD course while Aviation Cadet Muhammad Akram was awarded the trophy for overall best performance in 37 BLPC course.
While addressing the graduating cadets, the Chief Guest said, “PAF is an organization that demands nothing less than excellence and eminence from each of its officers. You have been provided the foundation upon which to build your careers as competent and dedicated members of the Pakistan Air Force. The tremendous pace of development in military technology makes it obligatory for you to excel and stay ahead. You must perform outstandingly, through dedication and interminable quest for knowledge”.
The ceremony was followed by an exhilarating aerial display by the PAF Academy Aerobatics team ‘Sherdils’. The ceremony was witnessed by high-ranking Military Officials and parents & guests of graduating Officers.
Earlier, on his arrival at the Academy the chief guest was received by Air Vice Marshal Asim Zaheer Air Officer Commanding PAF Academy, Risalpur.
