Afzaal Bhatti calls on the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Peer Pagara Saddar-ud-Din Shah Rashidi

Lahore: The Commissioner Overseas Commission Punjab, Afzaal Bhatti called on the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Peer Pagara Saddar-ud-Din Shah Rashidi and briefed him in detail about the working of Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab and steps being taken to provide relief to the Overseas Pakistanis, with regard to the problems being faced by them.

The Director General Overseas Pakistanis Punjab, Kh. Daud and Director Police, Capitan Mobeen were also present on the occasion.

During the meeting Peer Paghara said that establishment of Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab is a positive step towards solving the problems of Pakistanis living abroad. The Federal Minister was informed that Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab has introduced a modern information technology-based system to redress the grievances of overseas Pakistanis regarding Land Mafia, Police and other Departments, after receiving their complaints.

The Federal Minister assured full cooperation to Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab and said that steps would be taken to resolve unpaid claims of Oversees Pakistanis, besides resolving their problems promptly, through mutual consultation.
