Lahore: Member German Parliament Christoph Strasser and Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan Dr. Cyrill Nunn along with a 3-member delegation met Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs & Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sandhu, here today. Matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting.
Khalil Tahir Sandhu briefed the German delegation on the Minorities Affairs & Human Rights Department Punjab. He also informed the delegation about the steps taken by the Punjab government for the welfare of minorities and permanent allocation of five percent quota in jobs. He said that there are deep-rooted relations between Pakistan and Germany which are further strengthening with the passage of time.
German Member Parliament and Federal Government Commissioner for Human Rights Christoph Strasser and German Ambassador Dr. Cyrill Nunn lauded the cooperation between the two countries and expressed the hope that trade relations and bilateral ties will be further promoted. They appreciated the steps taken by Punjab government for the welfare and betterment of minorities.
