Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League -Q Lawyers Wing Punjab extra-ordinary meeting was held under the chairmanship of Wing President Alamagir advocate and PML Lawyers Wing Pakistan Coordinator Muhammad Younis Abid in which names of candidates taking in the next elections of Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) were considered.
After detailed consideration and deliberations, it was unanimously decided candidate for the office of the President Pir Masood Chishti advocate former Secretary Law and for the office of the Secretary Mohammad Ahmad Qayyum advocate will be supported. Mohammad Ahmad Qayyum is the son of former President of Supreme Court Bar Association, former Judge of the Lahore High Court and former Attorney General of Pakistan Malik Mohammad Qayyum.
The meeting emphasized upon the Wing members and PML supporter lawyers to cast their votes in favour of both these candidates, Insha-Allah they will emerge victorious and on being elected they will serve the lawyers’ community to the maximum extent possible.
Alamgir advocate and Younis Abid advocate in their addresses said that PML Lawyers Wing has always supported such candidates in every election who believe in the supremacy of justice and law in the country and making efforts for the prestige and welfare and well-being of the lawyers’ community. They said decision to support both above-mentioned candidates has been taken in view of these considerations.
