Baba Haider Zaman calls on former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain

Lahore: Suba Hazara Tehrik (Hazara province movement) Chairman Baba Haider Zaman along with a delegation called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain at his residence here today and invited him to participate in the movement’s public meetings for making Hazara a province in Abbotabad and Lahore on April 12.

Baba Haider Zaman said on the occasion that like other promises the rulers have also forgotten the promise made with the people of Hazara, “you support us”, people were helpless, the Federal Govt has completely failed in controlling the terrorists.

Endorsing the stance of Baba Haider Zaman, Ch Shujat Hussain said “we are with the people of Hazara, were first to support making Hazara a province and fully endorse his decision”.

He said there was dire need for reforms in the present system, to control terrorism and law and order situation was beyond the power of the present govt, all parties had given full powers to the govt in the APC but incidences of terrorism were increasing with the passage of every day which was a matter of grave concern. He said when the public meetings of Hazara Province Movement would take place, we would participate in the same.

On the request of Baba Haider Zaman, Ch Shujat Hussain announced to nominate a PML representative in the Sauba Banao Tehrik Council and assured him full support.

During the meeting, Ch Shafat Hussain, Shafay Hussain and Mian Imran Masood were also present whereas the delegation included Sultanul Arifin, Tahir Malik, Malik Mohammad Sajjad, Sardar Gohar Zaman, Sardar Yousuf, Naeem Ashraf Durrani and Azhar Khan.
