ATC Lahore awards 7 time death sentence to a culprit Muavia in a case of attacking worship place of Ahmedis

Lahore: Anti Terrorist Court Lahore has awarded 7 time death sentence and two time lifetime imprisonment to a culprit Muavia belonging to banned Tehrik-e-Taliban in a case of attacking worship place of Ahmedis. The court has also awarded 9 times life imprisonment to another culprit Abdullah of banned TTP involved in the incident besides a fine of Rs.33 lakh each to both culprits.

According to the details, terrorists had attacked worship place of Ahmedis in Model Town Lahore in May 2010 and banned TTP had accepted the responsibility. The law enforcement agencies arrested two accused Muavia and Abdullah on the spot involved in the attack. The case was pursued against them in Anti Terrorist Court which announced the verdict of the case today and awarded punishment to both culprits.
