Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a meeting here today in which special prayers were offered for the departed souls of the innocent children and teachers of Army Public School and fortitude for the bereaved families on the completion of one month since Peshawar tragedy.
The Chief Minister and the participants of the meeting expressed complete solidarity with the families of the martyrs and reiterated the determination to root out terrorism and extremism from the country.
The Chief Minister said that every Pakistani is grieved at the worst incident of terrorism in Peshawar and shares the grief of the families of innocent children and their teachers who were martyred. He said that due to the sacrifice of innocent children political and military leadership as well as the whole nation has united to eliminate terrorism and terrorists will be given a crushing defeat with the force of unity.
He said that the terrorists will be held accountable for every drop of blood of martyrs and the war for the survival of the country will be won at any cost.
