Lahore: Pakistan’s Guinness world record holder Muhammad Saadi has expressed his desire to pull a vehicle of 3000 kg weight with his moustaches in any part of world. “I will do this feat just to make good name of my country”, he said this while talking to media at National Hockey Stadium here on Tuesday.
Saadi, who stunned the world when he pulled a 1740 kg motor car with his moustaches in the Guinness World Record show in Milan, Italy in July 2014, said that Pakistan was everything to him and he will never compromise when it comes to motherland. “Pakistan gave us everything and it should be top priority for all of us,” he added. Saadi’s previous world mark was 1700 kg mini truck which he recorded in 2012 edition of Punjab Youth Festival.
Saadi said that Sports Board Punjab had a major role behind his historic feats. “DG SPB Usman Anwar provided us every facility and best possible platform to demonstrate our rare potential,” he described.
Saadi, who hailed from Faisalabad, informed that his two sons – 18-year old Mehmood Akmal and 5-year old Kaleemullah also had craze to drag vehicles with their bodies. “Kaleemullah, then 4-year-old, had pulled a car in March 2014. His rare feat was also published in various national newspapers,” he disclosed. “My other son Mehmood Akmal is also keen to pull 13 vehicles to break the world record of 12 vehicles,” he further said. The previous record of 12 vehicles weighing 28,530, was established by five-time World’s Strongest Man Zydrunas Savickas in December 2013 in Lithuania.
