Rana Mashud visits Lahore Grammar School Johar Town

Minister Education 1 Rana Mashud visits Lahore Grammar School Johar Town Lahore: Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashud Ahmad Khan has said that the future of our new generation is safe and its morale is high.

He was talking to girl and boy students during his visit to Lahore Grammar School (LGS), Johar Town, International School of Choueifat, Govt. Boys High School Kot Lakhpat, Govt. Model Girls High School Township, Lahore College of Arts and Sciences (LCAS) and Govt. Degree College for Women Gulberg Lahore. Director College Lahore Division Rana Naseem Akhtar also accompanied the Minister. Rana Mashhood Ahmad appreciated 9th class student of Government School Kot Lakhpat who said that we should continue our education as the country is in a state of war.

The Minister said that media should also play its role for creating an atmosphere of peace as protection of our children and country is our joint mission. Talking to girl students of Govt. College for Women Gulberg, the Minister said that like education, the daughters of the nation will also remain ahead of their brothers in the campaign for creating awareness against the enemy. He said that the cowardly enemy who attacked our children in Peshawar failed to demoralize our nation. He said that government is taking all possible steps for the security of educational institutions and the entire nation along with its leadership will eliminate terrorism from Pakistan. He lamented that some profiteers are selling barbed/razor wires and other security equipments at higher price.

He said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken strict notice of the situation and instructions have been issued to all Divisional Commissioners to take action against the elements involved in black marketing. He said that no institution will be sealed over incomplete protective measures as it is an ongoing process. He said that government has decided to take strict action against the administration and owners of private educational institutions showing laxity in completing security arrangements. He said that an ordinance has been promulgated through Punjab Assembly in this regard under which heavy fine and imprisonment can also be awarded.

He said that security arrangements have been completed in all educational institutions of A+ and A category according to the SOPs while patrolling has been made more effective through quick response force for the provision of security to B, C and D category schools.
