pic 1 pic-2Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has said that the government was forcing the administration of educational institutions to adopt security measures but it was not ready to take any practical step for the security of the masses nor had it shown any seriousness in curbing lawlessness.

Addressing a Seerat Conference at Mansoora mosque on Sunday evening, he said that the murderers and dacoits were roaming about freely due to which the masses were having sleepless nights but the rulers seemed to be totally unconcerned.

Sirajul Haq sad that those blaming Islam and the madrissahs for terrorism had thrust the worst type of terrorism over the nation as the country coming into being in the name of Islam did not have the just Islamic system even for a single day. The nation had spent 35 years under martial law and the rest of the period under the rule of feudal lords and capitalists and there had not been peace any time during this entire period.  However, the entire blame for unrest was being laid on the madrissahs running with the financial support of the general public.

Others who addressed the conference included Maulana Muhammad Amjad Khan, Hafiz Ibtesam Elahi Zaheer, Maulana Abdul Ma’lik, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees and Dr Merajul Huda.

The JI chief said that actually the responsibility of terrorism and unrest all over the world lay with the forces trying to obstruct the spread of the Islamic teachings that preached love and peace. He said that actually the US was the leader of terrorists under whose command the bloodshed of the Muslims was going on all over the world. The US had thrust a war on thirteen Muslim countries including Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan only because the western powers wanted to occupy the oil and other mineral wealth of the Muslim states. He said that the current fall in the POL prices had also been made to compel the oil producing Muslims states to accept the US terms. He said unfortunately, Pakistan had always been ruled by the US slaves and all the policies of the country were framed on US dictation.

He said the JI wanted to introduce the Islamic system based on justice and equality in the country under which the children of a poor worker enjoyed facilities at par with the offspring of the President and the Prime Minister of the country, because unless the prevailing system based on exploitation and tyranny was demolished, the lot of the common man could not improve.  A change could not come simply through slogans expressing the Holy Prophet’s love, he added.

Maulana Amjad Khan, in his address, said that the unity of the religious parties was essential to check the advance of the forces of Kufr.
