Nation has no option except to win the war against terrorism:Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: PML(N) Central Leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that the nation has no option except to win the war against terrorism. He said that the Ulema should play a vanguard role in the ideological war against terrorism and extremism. He said that our political leadership has united to eliminate the cancer of terrorism forever. Hamza Shahbaz said that after the bloodshed by anti-state elements, if anyone has reservations about them, he will be answerable in this world and the world hereafter. He said that the entire nation fully supports all decisions taken by its leadership in the state of war.

He expressed these views while addressing the annual Seerat Conference held under the aegis of Provincial Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department at Quran Academy Complex today. Provincial Minister for Auqaf Atta Muhammad Manika, Justice (R) Khalil ur Rehman Khan, Mufti Muneeb Ahmed, Qari Hanif Jhalandari, Maulana Yasin Zafar and Muhammad Afzal Haideri also addressed the conference. Cash prizes and shields were given to the writers of four best books on Seerat-un-Nabi and Naat in 2014 Dr. Muhammad Rafiq, Irshad ul Asad, Riaz Hussain Chaudhry and Dr. Muhammad Younis Akhter.

Hamza Shahbaz said that we can rid of all problems by following the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH). He said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by forgiving the murderer of His Uncle Hazrat Hamza gave lessen of tolerance and forgiveness through His act but some elements in our country in the garb of religion has started terrorism, extremism and killing of innocent human beings. He said that our political and military leadership is united on one page for eliminating such elements.

Hamza Shahbaz said that time has come to take tough decisions including setting up of military courts for purging the motherland from terrorists and enemies of humanity. He said that all political parties and stakeholders despite reservations are united on national action plan against terrorism. He congratulated national leadership on displaying unity in the war against terrorism in all parties’ conference.

Hamza Shahbaz said time has come that the country should be rid of terrorism and the respect of green passport should be restored. He said that winning the war against the enemies of peace and state is the only way to restore the image of the country abroad and all resources should be utilized for this purpose.

Hamza Shahbaz advised that the irresponsible statements against religious seminaries should be avoided. He said that these seminaries are centers of excellent but if our enemy is working to achieve its nefarious design in the garb of religious seminaries, action should be taken against it. He said that war against terrorism is not only the responsibility of army, police and political leadership but every segment of the society including Ulema is included in it. He said that if we will march forward with sincerity, unity and determination, Allah Almighty will help us. He said that the dreaming development and prosperity in the terrorism and bloodshed is a self deception. He expressed the hope that the historic decisions being taken by the government led by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif during holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal will prove to be fruitful and the nation and the country will rid of menace of terrorism.
