Police formed a Mobile Tracking Unit to make Lahore a crime free city

Lahore Police have formed a mobile tracking Unit of 168 cops which would work as quick response unit to uproot crimes by using mobiles IMEI numbers.The mobile tracking unit members would be posted in every police station of the city and in every divisional SP office.This Unit would have access to FIRs of property cases.

The Mobile Tracking Unit was trained in Police Lines Qila Gujar Singh under the supervision of SP HQ Omar Saeed Malik.

DIG Ops Dr Haider Ashraf said that Mobile Tracking Unit would be a useful cell to make Lahore a crime free city.He said that in every police station Mobile Tracking System would be installed in every police station with the help of NADRA.He will take meeting of Mobile Tracking Unit every month and would give awards to first ten best performers.
