APCNGA formula can maintain CNG, petrol price difference: Ghiyas Paracha

Lahore: Ghiyas Paracha Group bagged a landslide victory in the annual election of the All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA).

The results issued by the Chief Election Commissioner Syed Sajjad Haider declared Captain (Retd) Shuja Anwar as the new Central Chairman of APCNGA.

Ch. Talib of Rawalpindi won election for the post of Senior Vice Chairman while Khaliq ur Rehman of Peshawar became Vice Chairman of APCNGA.

Haji Sajid Islam, Arbab Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Tahir and Kamal Pasha were elected to the Executive Committee of the association.

Speaking on the occasion, Captain Shuja said thanked the voters for reposing confidence in his person and promised to deliver.

He said that he will strive for the unity and integrity of CNG sector and take gas supply issue as a challenge.

In his speech Ghiyas Paracha said that price of gas for the CNG sector should not be increased.

He said that petroleum prices are retreating therefore government should adopt formula of APCNGA to keep difference between price of CNG and petrol.

Paracha said that we will continue to strive for deregulation of prices, continuous supply and justified profit.

He said that we would continue to serve the CNG operators without any distinction.
