Bizenjo asks Govt to brush aside concerns over military courts

NP Pic 01Lahore: President of the National Party (NP) Senator Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo on Wednesday asked the government to disregard propaganda against military courts as elected government does not need approval of every stakeholder to defend the nation and country.

Some politicians and committees are just wasting time and preferring personal interests over the larger interest. Terrorists remain united while we have agreed on remaining divided over issues of paramount importance which is highly unfortunate. We have to win this war on our own after withdrawal of Nation and we cannot afford to lose it to meetings, the veteran politicians said.

In his message to an important party meeting, Hasil Bizenjo said that all the political parties have agreed on establishment of military courts and whole nation is backing the decision as masses are tired of lawlessness. “How can we forgive those who killed thousands of Pakistanis including children,” he questioned. He said that former CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry is not understanding the critical situation therefore he has voiced against the military courts. Those present at the meeting included NP’s Central SVP Dr. Ishaq Baloch, Punjab President Ayub Malik, Islamabad’s organiser Sidra Saeed, President of Chakwal Muhammad Nisar, President Dera Ghazi Khan Usman Bugti and others. NP Pic 02

They said that useless debates and reservations are a conspiracy to confuse army which amounts to helping the terrorists. The basic rights of masses are being violated by some champions of human rights are concerned about rights of convicted criminals and killers which is amazing.

The speakers said that NP will support military courts but we would be first to resist it if it was used to meet political objectives. They called upon leadership of PTI to express some sanity and delay their plan for agitation on this critical juncture. Our human rights activists also must appreciate that HR values have to be respected by all, including criminals, before they can agitate.
