Biased Indian umpires gave 13 decisions against Pakistan:DG Sports Punjab

DG-Spots-Board-Usman-AnwarLahore: Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar has said that Pakistan had requested Indian kabaddi authorities to appoint neutral umpires in the Kabaddi World Cup even before the start of mega event; he was talking to media persons in his office on Thursday .

Usman Anwar said that the entire world has witnessed the negative tactics of Indian umpires during the Kabaddi World Cup title clash. “The Chief Minister of Indian Punjab Parkash Singh Badal, after our protest, has assured us that Pakistan would be awarded the World Cup if the biased approach of Indian umpires proved in the investigation of Review Committee,” he revealed.

DG SBP, who was present during the Kabaddi World Cup in India, informed that the partial umpires gave as many as 13 decisions against Pakistan due to which our team lost the final by a narrow margin. “Our team demonstrated wonderful game in the final and their domination throughout the match was witnessed by all the media,” he explained.

“Badal also lauded the performance of Pakistan team in the final and said that the Review Committee will follow the merit while making its decision,” he added.
To a query, DG SBP warned that Pakistan team will never feature in any Indian event if they (India) failed to bring neutrality in their decisions.

Answering another question, Usman Anwar said that Sports board Punjab has always worked for the promotion of sports. “The merit-oriented decisions are key to promotion of sports and that’s why we always give top priority to merit in our team selection and all affairs,” he elaborated.

He told that Sports board Punjab will organize several important sporting events in the future. “SBP is doing solid planning for the holding of these events in a befitting manner,” he described when asked about the future events.
