Lahore: The indigenous training program for assistant professors of various departments of Punjab University has concluded here .
PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, Program Convener and Dean Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences Prof Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakar, Director Planning & Development Engr Tariq Majeed Qureshi and a large number of assistant professors were present on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, no change was possible in the culture of the university without regular training of teachers and employees. He said that now the university’s culture had been transformed, research culture had been promoted and administrative capacities of employees had improved. He said that assistant professors would perform administrative duties in future and the training program would help them improve their administrative skills.
Dr Zakria Zakir said that the training program had provided an opportunity to enhance administrative skills and manage financial matters efficiently. On this occasion, senior faculty members thanked PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran for his initiative and High Education Commission for its cooperation.
