PEF holds a condolence meeting on Peshawar carnage

Managing Director PEF, Dr. Aneela SalmanLahore: A condolence meeting was held at the head office of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) on Wednesday to condole the deaths of innocent students in Peshawar school tragedy as well as to show solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families.

The condolence meeting was largely attended by employees and head of different departments with PEF Managing Director Dr. Aneela Salman in the chair. Expressing her views, the MD PEF termed the Peshawar carnage as most barbaric and inhuman act. She said that whole nation is united and is firmly standing with the affected families.

She condemned the killings in strongest words and said that Punjab Education Foundation fully shares the grief and sorrows of the affected families in moment of anguish. She also prayed to Almighty God to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage and solace to the parents and mothers to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.

The meeting also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
