Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza of the martyrs of Peshawar tragedy offered at Badshahi Masjid

Lahore: Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza of the martyrs of Peshawar tragedy was offered at Badshahi Masjid here today. Khateeb Badshahi Masjid Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad led the prayers.

Acting Governor Punjab Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Deputy Speaker Sher Ali Gorchani, Provincial Ministers Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Dr. Farrukh Javed, Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Chaudhry Shafique, Chaudhry Sher Ali, Asif Saeed Manhais, Malik Taveer Aslam, Rana Maqbool Ahmed, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Assembly Members, Chief Secretary Naveed Akram Cheema, Provincial Secretaries, IG Punjab, CCPO Lahore, Commissioner and District Coordination Officer Lahore as well as a large number of people were present. Fateha Khawani was also offered on the occasion.

Talking to media, Provincial Ministers said that they fully share the grief of the bereaved families of the martyrs of Peshawar tragedy. They said that Pakistan will be rid of terrorism under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. They said that the policy to root out terrorism will be strictly implemented and the country will be made a haven of peace and prosperity. The Ministers said that in addition to comprehensive security measures in jails, CCTV cameras have also been installed. They said that armed forces will foil the nefarious designs of terrorists and bring them to their logical end. They said that war against terrorism will be continued till complete victory.
