A delegation of Pakistan Kissan Ittehad calls on Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Photo CPE 01 {Dec16-14}Lahore: Pakistan Kissan Ittehad Central Chairman Ch Muhammad Anwar and other office-bearers delegation during meeting with Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at his residence here today has announced that the farmers would fully and actively participate in the Pakistan Muslim League public meeting at Chunian Stadium district Kasur on December 21.

PML leader Dr Azeemuddin Zahid Lakhvi was also present in meeting whereas delegation included Pakistan Kissan Ittehad district Kasur President Sardar Yahya Kanwal and President Sahiwal Division Ch Ahmad Bilal among others. Kissan leaders said that the farmers regarded Ch Parvez Elahi as their great benefactor who during his tenure as the Chief Minister Punjab from 2002 to 2007 had taken historical and revolutionary measures for prosperity of the farmers and maximum increase in the agricultural production as well as also provided many incentives and facilities to the farmers and zamindars for the first time ever in Pakistan.

They said that the farmers had fully and enthusiastically participated in the PML public meeting in Bahawalpur and now they were keenly working day and night to make public meeting in Chunian also historical one also.

Expressing gratitude to the delegation Ch Parvez Elahi said that our vision is that if farmer was prosperous and satisfied then agricultural production will increase resulting in prosperous province as well as the country, we under this very vision had given importance to removal of problems and difficulties of the farmers during our tenure and provided maximum resources for provision of facilities to them. He said Pakistan Kissan Ittehad and our joint objective is to make the farmers prosperous and ridding them of present destructive situation and for this we will fully support the struggle of the Kissan Ittehad and continue making all possible efforts for solving the problems of the farmers.
