We must get the Kashmir issue solved:Prof. Hafiz Muhammad Saeed

13-12-2014_BANGLADESH-NISHST-mailLahore: A protest sitting against the convictions of the supporters of a united Pakistan by the Bangladeshi government was held at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan with Prof. Hafiz Muhammad Saeed of the Jamat-ud-Da’wah as the guest of honour. It was jointly organized by the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust  and the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust.

The speakers included Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Vice Chairman Professor Dr. Rafique Ahmad, Justice (r) Aftab Farrukh, Khabrain Group of Newspapers chief editor Zia Shahid, Pir Ejaz Hashmi, and Maulana Muhammad Shafi Josh. The proceedings of the event were conducted by Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Secretary Shahid Rasheed.

Professor Hafiz Muhammad Saeed observed that the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and the Jamat-ud-Da’wah had set the same goal which was propagating and disseminating the ideology of Pakistan to every nook and corner of the country and thereby bringing about complete unity amidst the ranks of the masses. In order to prevent the tragedies like Dhaka fall, we must get the Kashmir issue solved. Had Pakistan focused on its solution and delivered Kashmir from the clutches of India, the secession of East Pakistan would not have occurred, which was effected through an Indian conspiracy. Mukti Bahini personnel dressed up in Pakistan Army uniforms and committed massacre, rape and acts of sabotage. It was the travesty of justice to award death and prison sentences after a lapse of 4 decades to those whose only crime is loyalty to their country.

The professor warned the nation of the most horrible conspiracy being hatched by the U.S.A. and India, which aims at capturing Wakhan’s landstrip and commanding control over Baltistan, Gilgit and part of Ladakh. This would enable the U.S.A. to keep the two friends, China and Pakistan apart by damaging the Shahrah-i-Resham and India would be able to extend its trade to the Central Asia. Only unity among all the segments of society could enable us to face these challenges, the Professor observed.
