Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has granted approval to enhancing the quota of jobs for the disabled persons from two per cent to three per cent as well as approved lifting of ban on their recruitment.
The Chief Minister has approved the summary sent by Social Welfare Department and Baitul Maal in this regard and increased the quota of jobs for the disabled persons so as to provide them more employment opportunities.
It may be mentioned that a delegation of Pakistan Blind Association had met the Chief Minister a few days ago and demanded increase in their quota of jobs as well as lifting of ban on their recruitment.
