Ch Shujaat offers “fateha” on the demise of late Bashir Bilour’s

Ch Shujat HussainLahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Q President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain has said that the army was doing its work in North Waziristan in efficient and better manner but assistance and rehabilitation of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) was the duty of the govt, demand of the prevailing circumstances was that wealthy people of Punjab should come forward to play host to these persons who were suffering for their Motherland.

Announcing to play host to one effected IDP family himself, he said that if one lakh well-to-do people in the Punjab, which has a population of 8 crore, provide boarding and lodging facilities to one lakh IDPs then not only this problem would be solved but also increase inter-provincial love, solidarity and brotherhood.

He said this while talking to media after offering “fateha” at the residence of Ghulam Ahmad Bilour in Peshawar today. He had reached along with prominent intellectual Mowahid Hussain Shah to condole demise of late Bashir Ahmad Bilour’s son Usman Bilaur. Expressing his heartfelt grief and sorrow, he said that he shared the grief of the bereaved family.

On a complaint about lathi-charge by the police on the IDPs by one person who had left his home, Ch Shujat Hussain said that in the Punjab not only demonstrators but also the people within four walls of their homes were ruthlessly fired upon and even after this bloodshed no action was taken. He also announced to keep the complainant with his family in Lahore and bear all expenses till his return.

Ch Shujat Hussain said that undoubtedly IDPs were offering great sacrifice for Pakistan. In an asking manner he said further whether one lakh such people from Punjab could not come forward who extend treatment like Ansaars of Madina Munawarah to one lakh families of IDPs.
