Traders of Faisalabad reject strike call of PTI on December 8

Faisalabad tradersLahore: All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran Action Committee, Anjuman-e-Tajran City 8 Bazaars and office-bearers of more than 200 trade organizations of all the markets of Faisalabad have rejected the call of PTI on December 8 and said that they will continue their business at every cost. They said that all traders’ organizations are united and will not allow any one for goondaism and ransacking.

These views were expressed by Chairman All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran Action Committee and President Anjuman Tajran City Kh. Shahid Razzaq Sikka along with Heads of all traders’ organizations while addressing a press conference at Chowk Ghanta Ghar Faisalabad. Leaders of Anjuman Tajran City Haji Sheikh Muhammad Bashir, General Secretary Ch. Mehmood Alam Jatt, former MPA/Trader Kh. Muhammad Islam, Patron in Chief Ch. Ghulam Sarwar, Senior Vice Chairman Mirza Muhammad Siddique Baig and senior leaders Haji Abid, Sheikh Saeed, Rana Ikram Ullah, Haji Aslam Bhali, Sheikh Muhammad Fazil, Mirza Talib Hussain, Haji Shamshad, Haji Suleman, Ch. Pervaiz Kamoka, Mirza Ashraf Mughal, Mian Asif Aslam, Rana Ayyub Manj, Abdul Qayyum Sheikh, Khalid Pervaiz Sheikh, Naseer Yousaf Vohra, Ch. Muhammad Asghar, Sheikh Farooq Allahwala, Sheikh Waheed Babbar, Javed Zafar, Haji Nadeem Vohra, Asrar Munny Khan, Amin Butt, Ch. Arshad Gujjar, Ayyaz Tareen Khan, Abbas Haider, Ch. Talat Mehmood, Dr. Mohsin Iqbal, Ch. Ashraf, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Yahya Shahid, Shaukat Ullah, Abdul Qayyum Anwar, Rana Ashfaq Ahmed, Mian Ashraf Mithoo, Ch. Ijaz, Haji Ramzan Sheeda, Zahid Hussain, Aziz ur Rehman, Ch. Ikram, Lala Moeen Sheikh, Bilal Elahi, M. Arshad Sialvi, Tariq Qadri, Rana Muhammad Wakeel, Javed Zafar, Ashraf Mithoo, Osama Saeed Awan, Lala Moeen Ahmed, Mirza Dawood Ibrahim and others were present on the occasion.

Leaders of Traders’ Organizations while opposing the call of Imran Khan said that all markets and 8 bazaars of the city will remain open on December 8 and those trying to close shops forcibly will face resistance. Leaders of Anjuman Tarjan City Haji Sheikh Muhammad Bashir, General Secretary Ch. Mehmood Alam Jatt, Former Member Punjab Assembly Kh. Muhammad Islam, Senior Vice Chairman Mirza Muhammad Siddique Baig, Asrar Munnay Khan and others also spoke on the occasion. They said that sit-ins of PTI have caused great loss to business activities and poor labourers have to face starvation. They said that Imran Khan should quit negative politics and wait for next elections. They said that nothing could be achieved from protest and sit-in of December 8. Therefore, Imran Khan should mend his ways for the stability of democracy and upholding political values. They said that traders’ organizations are united at one platform and fully support the policies of the government. Trader leaders said that great loss is being caused to the country in social, economic and democratic sectors through politics of sit-ins. They said that hurdles are being created in the way of foreign investment due to negative act which is a conspiracy against the country. They pledged that they will support Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for the continuity of democracy and progress and prosperity of Pakistan who are making efforts for elimination of energy crisis, development of the country and public welfare.
