Pakistan remained unable to present properly its case of Kashmir:Mowahid Hussain Syed

PU PULahore: Unfortunately Pakistan has remained unable to present properly its case of Kashmir, Nurrendra Modi’s involevement in Gujarat massacre and unlawful US-India nuclear deal on all international forums  to poor leadership and lack of commitment. In the current scenario division of Punjab in the name of good administrative control would be a disaster because Punjab is the backbone of Pakistan and it cannot be broken in the name of ethnicity.

This was stated by renowned analyst Mowahid Hussain Syed during a seminar on “International Scenario and Challenges faced by Pakistan” organised by Punjab University Academic Staff Association at Al-Razi Hall here on Thursday. Vice Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran  presided over the ceremony while ASA leaders Dr Aamer Ejaz, Dr Aabid Chaudhry, Dr Faheem Aftab, Dr Shahid Munir, Dr Mehboob Hussain, Sonia Omer, Shabbir Sarwar, a large numer of faculty and students were also present there .

Speaking on the occasion US had banned Modi’s entry to America for the last 10 year because of his evident involvement in the Gujarat killings however Pakistan could not highlighted and propagate its case effectively. He said our leader lacked the ability to present the case of Pakistan on international forums. “Those who are good orators and speak thorough -out in Pakistan we have seen them keeping mum and calm when there is time to present the case before international community leaders,: he remarked. Replying to a query he said Pakistan not only needed awareness but also the fairness which was very necessary. He said the slogan of revolution remained hollow in Pakistan. He said 1971 like demogragory was being made when one man appearing on the television screen several time made speeches and promotes hate against others. This can reverse line the case of Ayoub, Yahya, Zia Bhutto Mussolini and others.

He said presently Muslim countries were facing many challenges and besides being 1.5 billion populations they have no representation at most of the international forums. He urged the Muslim countries leadership to call for Islamic International Conference.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Mujahid Kamran said when Modi’s assumed the office of Prime Minister in Indian and he visited US after 10 years, a group of US held a protest demonstration but Pakistani media did not highlight this event. He said our leaders lacked the knowledge to counter the propaganda of our enemies. He urged the students and faculty to best equip them with the power of knowledge because without proper education and information nations remained unable to counter others. He said China got back Hong Kong with firing even a single bullet because of its proper presentation of the case and commitment. He said at the moment US needed Pakistan for  Afghanistan that is why it has soften its policy towards Pakistan and given best protocol to Gen Raheel Sharif during his recent visit.
