Lahore: Director Save the Youth Pakistan, Sheerin Aslam met Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sindhu and apprised him of the programmes of his institution regarding resolution of problems of the youth, their encouragement and career planning.
Khalil Tahir Sindhu said that government is making efforts for the elimination of poverty, unemployment and backwardness through economic stability and paying special attention to resolve problems of all sects including minorities for a prosperous future of the country. He said that youth are precious asset of the country and along with education they are also being provided opportunities of professional training.
The Minister said that a number of projects are underway for the training of youth and their capacity building through the cooperation of non government organizations and participation of private sector. He said that new programmes are under consideration in this regard and youth of urban and rural areas will equally benefit from them.
