ACCA and ICMA Pakistan signs MoU to develop a road map for mutual recognition

Lahore: The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a road map for mutual recognition and pathway to each other’s qualification and membership.

The MoU will be an extension to the existing exemptions arrangement seeking to facilitate students and members of ACCA and ICMA Pakistan in obtaining the other body’s membership.

This MoU also involves collaboration on high level policy and research work which can include the publication of surveys and research reports as well as jointly holding high profile events and conferences in Pakistan. It also supports members of both organizations through provision of continuous professional development programs.
