Punjab University Assistant Professor Usman Yousaf’s research paper is awarded

Lahore: Punjab University Hailey College of Banking & Finance (HCBF) Assistant Professor Sh Muhammad Usman Yousaf’s research paper has been awarded as the best paper in “Malaysia-Indonesia International Conference on Economy, Management and Accounting, 2014 (MIICEMA 2014) at Malaysia while he has presented two research papers in the event. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has congratulated him on this success.

Meanwhile,the brilliant students of various departments of Punjab University have participated in bilingual declamation contests and won team trophy with outstanding performances. Punjab University Law College (PULC) students Moazam Lodhi and Hamza Mustafa won 1^st positions in English and Urdu declamation respectively held at PAF Academy Risaalpur, setting the record for the first time in the history by winning team trophy. Institute of Business & Information Technology Lecturer Syed Fahad Kazmi was also present with them. PU students have also shown outstanding performances at Jhang and FC College and won team trophy.

In declamation contest at Cadet College Jhang, Sibtain Raza from Law College and Osama Tarrar from Electrical Engineering got team trophy in English and Urdu debate while in FC College Huzaifa Anwar from Electrical Engineering and Sibtain Raza from PULC won 1^st positions in Urdu and English declamation contests respectively. PUCIT student Ammar Shabbir and ICS student Yasir Rasheed got team trophy in English and Urdu declamation at COMSATS. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has congratulated the Principal Law College Prof Dr Shazia Naureen Qureshi, heads of other departments and students on their success.

He also appreciated the efforts of Directorate of Students Affairs Director Shahid Mehmood Gull and Deputy Director Syed Zubair Akram.
