Punjab Government is pondering over to reshuffle the DPOs in the province

 

Lahore(Syed Musharraf Shah): Punjab Government is pondering over to reshuffle the DPOs in the province on a large scale.Inspite of IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera ,Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif would take decision about transfer ,postings of the DPO after interviewing the senior police officer.

According to sources,DPO Khanewal Ayaz Saleem is being transferred and posted as SSP investigation Lahore against SSP Abdul Rabb Ch within couple of days ,DPO Jhang Zeeshan Asghar and DPO RYK Sohail Zafar Chattha are being relieved for departmental courses on their request,former CTO Lahore Capt Sohail Ch is expected to be posted as DPO Kasur in place of Capt Jawad Qamar who was under criticism after the burning of a couple alive,DPO Vehari Sadiq Dogar is expected to be posted as DPO Raheem Yar Khan,DPO Sialkot Gohar Nafees,DPO Hafiz Abad Dr Tariq Chohan,DPO Sargodha Raja Basharat are expected to transfer on political ground while DPO Attock Israr Abbasi is not being changed for the same reason whereas DPO Bhakkar Shakar Hussain is sick of the political leadership and wanted his transfer,DPO Okara Babar Bakhat Qureshi could be posted to any other district.

SSP Sajjad Hassan Khan Manj and SSP Romail Akram have requested to the IG Punjab that they not to be posted outside the metropolis and if there is no vacancy available for them then they please remain in CPO.
