Men’s kabaddi camp in progress

Lahore: The probables of men’s national kabaddi camp had a rigorous day here on Monday at Punjab Stadium. It is pertinent to mention here that Sports Board Punjab is organizing the kabaddi camp for the preparation of upcoming Kabaddi World Cup being staged in India next month.

The Kabaddi players did tough physical training in the morning session. Prior to their training, they also took a round of Punjab Stadium to get suitable warm up for tough exercise. The players were also shown the video clips of various outfits of the world just to make them aware of the playing techniques and weak points of other teams.

After the video session, Ghulam Abbas Butt, the head coach of Lahore Lions Kabaddi team, delivered a detailed lecture about the game of kabaddi. He asked his players to maintain their focus on the mega event so that Pakistan can script encouraging results on the Indian soil.

The participants of camp also played a practice match in the evening session. Pakistan women’s kabaddi players also did their routine practice at the training camp at the same venue.
