AIR CHIEF CALLS ON PRIME MINISTER OF QATAR AND COMMANDER QATAR EMIRI AIR FORCE

pafDoha: Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force who is on an official visit of Qatar, called on Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar today. Both the dignitaries remained together for some times and discussed matters pertaining to regional security issues and emphasized the strengthening of cooperation for the self reliance and building up of the Muslim Ummah. They reiterated their resolve in taking the existing brotherly relations to newer heights. The Air Chief assured full cooperation in various areas of strategic importance between the two countries in general and the two Air Forces in particular.

Earlier, Air Chief Marshal, Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, visited Qatar Emiri Air Force Headquarters.  On his arrival, a smartly turned out contingent of Qatar Emiri Air Force presented the Guard of Honour. He was introduced to the Principle Staff Officers of Qatar Emirit Air Force. The Air Chief also met with Brigadier General Mubarak Mohammed Al Kumait Al Khayarin, Commander Qatar Emiri Air Force, in his office. Both the dignitaries remained together for some time and discussed matters of professional interest. Matters related to training and operations were also discussed during the meeting. Both the dignitaries reiterated their resolve in enhancing the already existing cordial relations between the two Air Forces.
