Wall-chalking by any extremist organization will not be tolerated: CM Punjab

CM Punjab shahbaz sharif is presiding over meeting on law and orderLahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting here today which reviewed law and order situation in the province. Federal Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan especially attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that government is taking all possible steps for the protection of life and property of the people. He said that wall-chalking by any extremist organization will not be tolerated. He directed that police should keep a watchful eye on such elements and they should be curbed.

The Chief Minister stressed the need of promoting sentiments of tolerance and patience. He said that police should take all possible measures for maintaining public peace and discharge its duty with devotion and dedication for the protection of life and property of the people. Shahbaz Sharif said that indiscriminate action should be taken against criminals. He said that the role of ulema for the maintenance of peace is of great importance. He said that sentiments of brotherhood should be promoted with the cooperation of ulema in the society.wall chalking by Daesh

The Chief Minister said that foolproof security arrangements were made on Youm-e-Ashur and Muharram ul Haram in the province and similar arrangements should also be made on the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain.

Federal Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan expressed satisfaction over security arrangements made on Youm-e-Ashur and Muharram ul Haram. MPA Rana Sanaullah Khan, Chief Secretary, Inspector General Police and senior officials attended the meeting.
