Nation is grieved over the Wahga tragedy :Sirajul Haq

pic Siraj ul haqLahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami  Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has said that the  nation was grieved over the Wagha tragedy and there was dire need to reorganize the police force in all the provinces and equipping it with latest technology in order to meet the internal security challenges. He was addressing public gatherings at different places in his constituency Union Council Mundah  and Mian Gali, on Monday.

Sirajul Haq said that the trials of the JI leaders in Bangladesh could not be termed as the internal matter of that country. He impressed upon the rulers in Islamabad to raise a voice against the inhuman treatment being meted out to the JI leaders in BD.

The JI chief made it clear to Indian Prime Minister Modi that the Pak-India ties could not improve without solving the Kashmir issue in line with the UN resolutions promising plebiscite to the Kashmris. He further said that the Pakistani nation stood behind its armed forces like a rock.

Sirajul Haq impressed upon the Shia and the Sunni Ulema and Zakireeen to understand the enemy designs to split the Muslim Ummah into sects and factions  and weaken their strength.

He said that the JI would emerge as a big and popular party within a short time with the blessings of Allah Almighty and the support of the masses. He said that huge number of people had attended the JI public meetings in all the provinces which had given the party a new strength.

He said the JI was considering a proposal to induct prominent political and religious leaders, Ulema and Mashaikh enjoying good reputation and according them suitable status in the JI. He was confident that in the future elections, the JI would  emerge as a major parliamentary party.

Sirajul Haq said the JI would revive the Pakistan movement at its  Ijtema and its leadership and workers would not rest until and unless the country was turned into an Islamic, welfare state, free from tyranny, exploitation and poverty.

Meanwhile, Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, on Monday, told  the Federal Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan by telephone that the trials of the JI leaders in Bangladesh for so called war crimes were totally false and a clear violation of a tripartite agreement between Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.

The JI chief said the BD government had started the victimization of the Islamists under the garb of war crimes under New Delhi’s influence, and the Pakistan government should take up the issue with international forums to stop these.

The Interior Minister assured the JI chief that the government was conscious of the problem and the Foreign Ministry would soon present a way out of the situation.
