Acceptance of PTI MNAs resigs would further deepen the political crisis: Sirajul Haq

sirajul haqLahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has said that the acceptance of PTI MNAs resignation would further deepen the political crisis and create hurdles in the way of the political Jirga.

Talking to the media after inaugurating “Aaghosh”, a project of the Al-Khidmat Foundation for the upbringing of orphan children in Mansehra, he said that the tug of war in Islamabad was only for party and personal interests and had nothing to do with the common man’s interests. He said that he had me leaders of all political leaders and impressed upon them to rise above party and personal interests and begin war against poverty, ignorance, price hike and unemployment, but his words fell on deaf ears.

The Al-Khidmat Foundation President Dr. Hafeezur Rahman, JI provincial chief Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan also spoke on the occasion. PML(N) Senior Vice president Malik Iftekher Ahmed, PTI’s Maulana Altafur Rahman and others announced their joining the JI at the occasion.

The JI chief said it was shameful that while the non-Muslims were providing education and jobs to their youth, the Pakistani young men with degrees in their hands, were running from pillar to post in search of jobs. He said that such problems would not have arisen if an Islamic system prevailed in this country.

The JI chief said that he was the first man to support the Hazara province, adding  that there was no harm in creating more administrative units. He said the JI was opposed to divisions of the provinces on the basis of nationalities and ethnicity.

Sirajul Haq deplored that even after the passage of sixty days, no agenda had been given by the rulers and the electoral reforms had not been initiated so far. “ We don’t want reforms dished out by the bureaucracy as the reforms should be such as were acceptable to the masses.

He said the JI Ijtema next month would be a revival of the Pakistan movement.
