JIP condemns death sentence to Mutiur Rehman Nizami

Mutiur Rehman NizamiLahore: Ameer Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan  Siraul Haq and   Secretary General Liaqat Baloch have strongly condemned the death sentence pronounced by a so-called Bangladesh court to JI Bangladesh chief Mutiur Rehman Nizami.

In a statement here on Wednesday, the JI chief said that the decision of a fake court was the height of tyranny and death sentence had been given to a totally innocent person.  He said that the such measures could not prolong the rule of BD Premier  Haseena Wajid.

The JIP chief said that it was most unfortunate tat the Pakistan government was maintaining a criminal silence over the convictions of patriotic Pakistanis who had sided with the Pak army although it could seek the end of these cases against the JI leaders present to the world at large the agreement signed by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Z. A. Bhutto that said that there would not be any war crimes trials.

Sirajul Haq said that some time back, senior JI leader Mullah Abdul Qadir had been hanged to death in a most inhuman way. However, he was confident that the JI Bangladesh would emerge victorious from this crisis.
