Rulers to decide what they want from India,Potato or Kashmir:Ch Parvaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has condemned Indian adamant attitude on Kashmir, oppression and barbarism in occupied area and turning it into military cantonment in the most strong words and also criticized coldness of Pakistani rulers in this regard.

Describing Indian step of sending forces in Kashmir on October 27, 1947 as the Black Day, Ch Parvez Elahi said in a statement issued here today that business and profiteer rulers of Pakistan should decide whether potato and tomato or Kashmir was to be taken from India. He said in order to continue occupation of held Kashmir more than eight lakhs strong Indian army was deployed there which was the largest number of occupying force of any area.

Emphasizing the need for drawing immediate attention of international community in this regard, he said that Pakistani rulers should firstly demand withdrawal of Indian forces from occupied Kashmir so that Indian atrocities were reduced there. He warned that any bargaining contrary to the aspirations and demands of the Kashmiris would neither be acceptable to the Kashmiri people the people of Pakistan would allow this.

He said that keeping in view the ground realities Modi govt should also pay attention towards the solution of the biggest problem of the region instead of buying weapons of billions of dollars so that the resources could be utilized for solving social problems to rid the crores of people of poverty and illiteracy because there was no denying the reality that the way for peace between India and Pakistan passed through Kashmir.

Expressing complete solidarity with the Kashmiri people, Ch Parvez Elahi said that Pakistan Muslim League would not leave them, they should not be disappointed with the attitude of businessman rulers who give preference to their own interest in every matter, people of Pakistan were with the Kashmiris and would continue to fully support them in securing their right of self-determination.
