Pakistan ‘A’ wins practice match against Pakistan ‘B’ Pakistan ‘A’ wins practice match against Pakistan ‘B’  (1)Lahore: The national women kabaddi probables played a practice match during the training camp at Punjab Stadium on Monday. The camp is being organized for the preparation of Kabaddi World Cup 2014 on the directives of Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar.

The Kabaddi World Cup will be played in India in December this year. It may be recalled here that Pakistan women kabaddi team had reached the semifinal stage of their inaugural appearance in the Women Kabaddi World Cup 2013 in India.

Coach Ghulam Abbas Butt divided the probables into two teams – Pakistan ‘A’ and Pakistan ‘B’ for the practice match. According SBP spokesperson, the practice match was arranged to assess the match fitness and form of national women kabaddi players.

Pakistan ‘A’ defeated Pakistan ‘B’ after a thrilling contest by a margin of 55-45. Skipper Madeeha Latif, Martha, Zeenat Perveen, Razia Sultana, Saba, Neelum Riaz and Nida Butt offered excellent performance for the triumphant team. For Pakistan ‘B’, Sadia Khalil, Sadia Abdul Khaliq, Sumaira Zahoor, Twinkle Suhail, Saira Bano, Razia Perveen, Saira Shah and Syeda Farida Khanum remained prominent performers.
