Lahore: An ultra modern Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine has been installed at Children Hospital Lahore for which Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has provided funds of Rs.180 million. The machine has been started functioning on experimental basis.
It was revealed by the Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Kh. Salman Rafique after inspecting the new installed machine at Children Hospital. He said that after installation of new MRI at Children Hospital, difficulties of the patients would be minimized.
On this occasion Dean Children Hospital Prof. Dr. Masood Sadiq and Medical Director Prof. Ahsan Waheed Rathore were also present. Dr. Ahmed Waheed Rathore informed the Advisor that the MRI machine installed at the hospital is considered as the most modern MRI machine. He said that after the installation of MRI machine it would easier to diagnose complicated diseases of the patients.
