Multan Administration liable for stampede: Shah Mehmood Qureshi

Lahore:PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has alleged that Multan Administration was liable for stampede,Administration took every step to impede the public meeting,I personally asked the CPO to arrange foolproof security for the Jalsa but nothing done.

While addressing a press conference,here in Multan after funeral prayer of four PTI workers ,Shah Mehmood Qureshi said DCO Multan Zahid Gondal was presenting fake facts and hindering reality.DCO Multan was working like Shahbaz Sharif’s Munshi,he added.

PTI vice chairman said Imran Khan will visit Multan tomorrow and meet PTI workers and condoled with bereaved families.He said Pomi Butt who attacked Imran Khan in Gujranwala,was in Multan,I question why he came here in Multan,his presence hints conspiracy.

He said it was not my duty to open the gates rather it was police who had to take decisions after stampede,they must provide ambulances to take injured to hospital,I do not want to spread sensation but it was the responsibility of the administration to respond,he added.

Shah Mehmood said Shahbaz Sharif did Multan incident after Lahore incident.

Meanwhile,Multan police has registered a case on stampede against the public meeting management.No arrest has been made till filing of these lines.
