DG PDMA directs to spray to protect the animals from viral diseases

Lahore: Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi has said that government is providing three time meal regularly to 62006 flood affectees staying in 303 relief camps whereas 313158 patients have been provided treatment facilities.

He said that 8401592 cattle of flood affectees have been vaccinated. He said that administration has been directed to carry out spray in those areas where water has receded so as to protect the animals from seasonal and other viral diseases. DG PDMA said that government will compensate to those affectees whose houses were damaged due to flood. He said that government is working on war footing to provide relief to the affectees.

Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi told that the government has released 10 crore rupees to each affected district so that district administration could accelerate rehabilitation activities. He said that Eid package will be given to the affectees before Eid.
