Inspector General Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema speaks at Police Darbar in Okara

Lahore: The traffic discipline and law would be enforced without any distinction and any violation in this regard will not be tolerated. The Patrolling officer would enforce traffic laws in letter and spirit while upholding basic trade of courtesy. This is said by Inspector General Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema while addressing at Police Darbar in Okara. The DIG Bashir Ahmad Memon , SSP Muhammed Inksar Khan and patrolling officer were also present on the occasion .

IG Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema said the patrolling officer would enforce the traffic and regulation without discrimination and fear. He said traffic violation can be controlled by effective enforcement, quality briefing and holding meetings with transporters. He said about 230 Police Officer promotions have been regularized in NH&MP. Honesty is our belief and courtesy and rendering help to road users is our recognition these core values should be continue with every cost, He added.

The NH&MP I.G also listened to the problems faced by the officers and issued necessary instructions to redress their grievances.
