Police to attend marriage ceremonies even without invitation: CCPO Lahore

Lahore:CCPO Lahore Capt.Muhammad Ameen has urged the police to attend marriage ceremonies in their respective areas either they have been invited by the hosts or not,their presence in the marriage ceremonies would ensure peace on the occasion and no one would dare to do aerial firing.Police officers should condoles the deaths of their respective areas ,it would help them to earn the confidence of the masses,he added.

While presiding over a crime meeting here ,at police lines qila gujar singh,the ccpo said that beat officers to constitutes beat safety committees that would ensure cooperation of the nobles of the vicinity to curb the crimes in the locality.

DIG Investigation Sahibzada Shahzad Sultan,DIG ops Dr Haider Ashraf,SSP investigation Ch Abdul Rabb,SSp Admin,SSP D & I,SP security,SP HQ,CTO,all the divisional SPs,SDPOs,SHOs,investigation incharges and Moharrars attended the meeting.

Capt.Muhammad Ameen said that beat incharges and constables make sure their presence in their concerned area ,it would help to minimize the kite string cases.He expressed his dissatisfaction on rescue 15 performance and directed DIG ops for sending him proposals to make it more effective.He also ordered to update the list of absconders and review to strategy of conducting raids.
