PTI workers released from Kot Lakhpat jail

PTI workers released from Kot Lakhpat jailLahore: PTI workers after getting bail from the court ,has been released from Kot Lakhpat jail today in the evening after more than a week. PTI joint secretary Shabbir Sial  gave them a reception outside the jail and take them to their homes in a caravan. Petals s were showered upon the freed workers of PTI and shouted slogan against the government. Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s main joint secretary shabbier Sayal gave a warm welcome to more than 25 PTI members and workers released from Jail Kot Lakhpat and presented them with garlands. The workers raised zealous slogans demanding the resignation and in support of Imran khan.

The workers who were released were Mahar Rashid, Umar Hayat joeya, Muhammad waseem, Mazhar Bukhari, Imran Rajput, Muhammad Khalid and including 25 other workers. Outside Kot Lakhpat Jail Shabbir Sayal while addressing the media personnel’s said Punjab Government has crossed all limits of state torture and terrorism, he said the people police had arrested were never taken to courts or jailed in police stations, they were taken to different locations and were forced to change their loyalties towards PTI, but Imran Khan’s loyalists resolve was not shattered by police torture.

Gulberg police had booked these PTI workers for making violence in Liberty Chowk,they had been granted bail yesterday but could not be released from jail as their bail papers were reached at the jail after stipulated time .
