Director General Sports Punjab vowed to extend every possible help to flood affected people

Lahore: Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar, on Monday, has vowed to extend every possible help to flood affected people, he was talking to media in Toba Tek Singh. He also visited Head Sadhnai and Main Ravi embankment on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and supervised the distribution of flour bags and other utensils among the needy masses in Mauza Mai Stooran.

DG SBP said that the rehabilitation work was going with satisfactory pace. “We will not sit idle till the complete rehabilitation of our poor brethren. Though it is a huge challenge but we are quite determined to achieve our goal,” he added.

Usman Anwar asked the nation to come forward and forget their differences to help out the deprived people from flood-hit areas.  “They really deserve all kinds of help and sympathies in this testing time. We can’t leave them alone,” he elaborated.

DG SBP further told that Punjab government and Sports Board Punjab have always played a constructive role for the welfare of needy people of Pakistan. “The flood water has caused irreparable loss in some areas of Punjab and we will go to every extent to help them in this scenario,” he said in an emotional tone.
