PTI suspends talks till the release of its arrested workers

Lahore: PTI secretary general Jhangir Tareen has said that they have suspended talks with government till the release of their arrested workers,talks and crackdown cannot go together.

While addressing a crowded press conference here in Islamabad,Jahangir Tareen said People are being stopped from exercising their right to stage a peaceful protest,PTI would not desist from its main demand for the resignation of PM despite ongoing police crackdown on workers.

Jahangir Tareen said,they have conveyed to the political Jirga that till the government does not mend its way,talks would not be possible.Their 500 workers have been arrested on staging peaceful protest and number of parkers arrested from their homes without any justification,now nothing less than prime minister’s resignation will be accepted,he added.

PTI secretary general said PTI sound system contractor has been arrested under loudspeaker act with the allegation that he used high volume while playing sound system.
