Lahore: Spokesman Punjab government Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said that the entire nation is shocked over the loss to human lives and property due to flood but those celebrating “Jashan” are adding salt to the injury of flood affectees. He said that those causing loss to the national economy and responsible for postponement of visits of heads of China, Sri Lanka and Maldives should show some sense of responsibility. He said that Chief Minister KPK should resign over the allegations of illegal recruitments in police.
He said this while talking to media-men at Civil Secretariat today. Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri said that had Imran Khan spent 2.5 crore rupees on helping the flood affectees instead of musical show, it would have enhanced his respect among the people. He said that Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is busy in relief activities for flood affectees for up to 20 hours daily while on the other hand these so-called public leaders are enjoying musical programmes on Islamabad roads. He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is also visiting flood-hit areas of Punjab and Azad Kashmir and providing huge resources for mitigating the miseries of flood affectees. He said that KPK Chief Minister along with his companions is spending Rs. 13 lakh daily on his travelling from Peshawar to Islamabad and KPK people should hold him accountable.
Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri said that all political parties which believe in democracy, law and the constitution are united while the two so-called revolutionaries are standing alone. He said Prime Minister has announced that government is ready to implement the constitutional and democratic demands of those staging sit-ins but Imran Khan riding on the container is showing stubbornness.
