Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have said that the rulers were not stopping playing double game, conspiracy being hatched to defame popular and respectable Pak Army intentionally but they would not succeed in their nefarious designs, injured workers were being arrested from hospitals and those released on bail by the courts being detained, they hurl abuses and threats during the day in the parliament and in their statements and in the night they come for negotiations which were being sabotaged by N-League Ministers themselves , rulers should refrain from hypocritic politics and fraud.
Both leaders said this while talking to media after meeting first with Peoples Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and then with Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
Ch Shujat Hussain said that the whole nation was witnessing what was happening. On being asked that the Federal Ministers were saying that the sit-in (dharna) could be finished through action in five minutes, he said then let come , they may even take 10 minutes, if action was to be taken then why talk about negotiations ?
Ch Parvez Elahi said that the rulers had adopted all tactics to fail Inqilab and Azadi March, reports have come according to which straight bullets were fired upon people also in Islamabad like Model Town tragedy, police had forcibly lifted injured workers from the hospitals, number of martyred persons was being hidden, N-League wallahs use wrong language and then also come for negotiations. He said like Model Town tragedy, FIR of the murdered persons was also not being registered in Islamabad also, workers were being arrested and detained, till they do not stop such activities and hurling abuses, negotiations would be merely cheating. He said that the entire responsibility for deterioration of situation was on the rulers but they were trying in vain to level false allegations on others and acquit themselves.
