Parks for special children will be established in through out Punjab:Asif Saeed Manhais

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Special Education Asif Saeed Manhais has said that Pakistan was achieved through a great struggle under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

He said this while addressing a function of Jashn-e-Azadi Mela arranged by City District Government and Sports Cell of Special Education Department at Town Hall here today. DCO Lahore Capt. (R) Muhammad Usman, DOC Shahzadi Waseema Umar, Director Special Education Muhammad Faazil Cheema, DEO Special Education Shahzad Bhutta and other officers attended the function.

Asif Saeed Manhais said that independence is a great blessing of Almighty Allah and He bestowed us this blessing in 1947. He said that although special children are deprived of some abilities yet Allah Almighty has gifted them such abilities as are not found in a normal person. He said that the courage and determination of special children can be judged with their performance. Provincial Minister said that government is evolving a programme under which special children can also get admission in the schools of normal children. He said that government has set up two parks for special children in Lahore where they can continue their activities.

Saeed Manhais disclosed that similar parks are also being established in other districts. Special children presented colourful programmes on this occasion.
