AIR CHIEF EXPRESSES GRIEF ON THE SAD DEMISE OF LEGENDARY HASHIM KHAN

Hashim-KhanLahore:  Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force who is also the President of the Pakistan Squash Federation expressed deep sorrow and grief on the sad demise of Pakistan Squash Legend Hashim Khan, who died in USA after prolonged illness.

The Air Chief paid glorious tributes to the services of Legendary Hashim Khan. He further said that services and contribution of Hashim Khan for Pakistan and the game of Squash would never be forgotten and he would always be a beacon of light for the young squash players of country.

Hashim Khan was born in Nawakille( Peshawar). He started playing squash in Royal-Indian Air Force as a coach. He won British Open Title seven times consecutively from 1951 to 1958. He also won five British Professional Championship titles, three US Open titles, and three Canadian Open titles in his illustrious career.

CM Punjab Shahbaz sharif and MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain condoled the death of legend squash player Hashim Khan.
