Lahore: University Law College has organized sports gala in connection with Independence Day in the college premises. Secretary General, Pakistan Karate Federation Shamim Hashmi, National Coach Fayyaz and employees were attended the ceremony.
In sports events, Employees Cricket Team beat Law College Cricket Team and Raja Sanwal was the best player of the match scoring 35 runs. In tug-of-war, College Library Team beat rest of College employees’ team.
In badminton double competition, Waheed-ur-Rehman and Shahmeer beat Shahzad and Muzammil in an exciting match.
A karate competition was also arranged. The players showed excellent performance in the events. Later, Prof. Dr Shazia Naureen Qureshi, distributed shirts, caps and sweet among the participants.
Meanwhile PU Department of Sports also organized sports events including Kabadi, Football and Volleyball in which Vice Chancellor Eleven beat Sports Department team in all the events. At the end, Director Sports distributed sweet among participants.
