Shahbaz Sharif notice self-immolation of a gang rape victim and her husband

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of self-immolation by a victim of gang rape and her husband due to non- provision of justice in Joharabad, Khushab and sought a report from DPO Khushab.

The Chief Minister also directed that best treatment facilities be provided to the injured while stern action should be taken against those who hindered the process of provision of justice to the aggrieved.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the death of a dental surgeon Dr. Ashraf allegedly due to police torture in a police station in Sahiwal and sought a report from police authorities.

The Chief Minister ordered that the matter should be thoroughly investigated and action should be taken under the law against the persons responsible.
